This is the recent news running almost in all newspapers in and around Mexico that Peña Nieto has enrolled himself as a candidate in the presidential elections that will take place during 2012. He has already been the governor of the city for tenure of six years. It was at that time the fate of Mexico was re-written. He brought law and order in the state. The number of murders has also reduced to almost half aat that time. Enrique Peña Nieto is standing as a candidate for the Institutional Revolutionary Party which has a very good history for its successful administration. As expected the people of the state are ecstatic after he announced himself as the candidate. Of course they will be happy if they get a reformer as their president. He was just a governor when he did such great service of cleaning the anti-social elements. But when he wins in the presidential elections he will surely be very successful and the country will be very lucky to have a reformer as their president. This will again be a term of 6 years which is quite a good time for him to prove himself. In his speech delivered to the public when he announced himself as a candidate he took many vows. The main among them was to eradicate illegal drugs that are being trafficked inside the state. It plagued almost the whole of the country. Innocent people became prey to those drugs killing thousands of them. So Peña Nieto told in his speech that all those drugs that are currently in the market would be completely removed. Also the companies which manufactured those drugs will be under siege and their license will be removed. So there is bright future for the people of Mexico for the next few years to come.
